I see myself as an accidental entrepreneur. I chose this career path after receiving massage therapy and physiotherapy from injuries I sustained from accidentally falling from a bridge. That fall resulted in two crushed heels and two fractured vertebras.
But most importantly, it paved my way into to world of asking the question “how can I be of service”.
I believe in creating a positive human experience through a relentless focus on quality and a shared commitment to wellness and disease prevention.
I have been building massage and wellness practices for over 25 years and am continuing down this path with Belimbr.
Belimbr reminds me of the importance of sharing our knowledge, educating our clients and the continuous effort it takes to raise the bar in the wellness industry.

How it's Going
1998 – I worked as a contracted massage therapist for Apex Massage Therapy ltd. We were starting a new industry in Calgary; offering an alternative treatment for pain, wellness and the treatment for mind-body connection.
2000 – After two years of contracting my services, I purchased 50% of the Apex Massage Therapy Ltd., partnering with a peer to create a massage therapy clinic.
2003 – We founded Spagoes - Calgary’s first mobile spa offering luxurious spa services in the homes of Calgarians. We were also the sole Canadian importer and trainer for JAMU Asian Spa Rituals™.
2004 – Due to the growth of our businesses, community involvement and support of grassroots charities, we both won “Top 40 under 40” in Calgary, AB.

2005 – I purchased the remaining 50% and became the sole owner of Apex Massage Therapy ltd.
2008 – For the next 5 years I operated Spagoes, expanded Apex Massage Therapy into two locations and opened a 6,000 square foot day spa in Fernie, British Columbia where we were named Best Spa in the East Kootenay’s as well as Best Spa in Fernie for the next 3 years.
2023 – I now have 29 Registered Therapists at Apex Massage that are providing a consistent, client centric service and are passionate about sharing my vision for a well lived life. We have consistently been awarded the Consumer Choice, Best Massage in Southern Alberta for the past 10 years.
2024 - Apex Massage Therapy Ltd. celebrates 30th year in business and the launch of Belimbr Certification Program, a CEU accredited program with NHPC nationwide.
